INE awarded $7.5M for critical mineral research

The UAF Institute of Engineering received $7.5M to continue and expand its research on Alaska's critical minerals as part of the CORE-CM program. These funds are part of a $45 Million investment by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) in critical mineral projects across the nation.
