Murmur: Arctic Realities is an installation by Seattle artist John Grade at Mystic Seaport that recreates one of the fascinating geomorphic features of permafrost regions, namely a pingo. Grade's sculpture derived from one pingo he encountered on his raft trip along the Noatak River.
