A paper on the mobility of bison has been published in the journal ARCTIC. Researchers analyzed strontium and oxygen isotopes on modern bison teeth in order to determine whether the data set could be used as a proxy for prehistoric movement of bison. Among the authors was WERC faculty and ASIF director Matthew Wooller.
