A paper published today in the journal of Science reveals new findings on the migration of prehistoric humans across the Americas. WERC ASIF director Dr. Mat Wooller is one of the co-authors who contributed to this study conducting isotope analysis on an ancient tooth found on Alaska's Seward Peninsula. The new findings shed more light on complex history of North - South migration and are also summarized in today's New York Times' article "Crossing From Asia, the First Americans Rushed Into the Unknown."
