Dr. Tim Petty, who recently completed his PhD in through INE’s Water and Environmental Research Center, has been nominated by President Trump to serve as the Assistant Secretary for Water and Science at the U.S. Department of the Interior. Dr. Petty completed an interdisciplinary PhD in Water Science and Policy in 2017. His dissertation "Flood Hazard Hydrology: Interdisciplinary Geospatial Preparedness and Policy" is available through ScholarWorks@UA.
