WERC student Ben Gaglioti will be defending his PhD dissertation on March 31st, 2016 at 2pm in the Murie Auditorium. The title of of Ben's dissertation is "Landscape Sensitivity to Climate Change in Northern Alaska: Lessons from the Past." Ben's research focuses on interactions between climate, vegetation, and permafrost in northern Alaska, spanning the past 40,000 yrs.
This presentation is open to the public and will also be streamed live for those unable to attend in person.
