The University of Alaska is fortunate to be one of 13 Carbon Ore, Rare Earth, and Critical Minerals (CORE-CM) centers competitively selected by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). Soon DOE will be considering the next phase of their CORE-CM investment and is asking each center for their plans. The university’s CORE-CM team needs your input to help build Alaska's REE/CM industry.
