Real-time data
Imnavait Met (July 2015)
Raw data displayed on this webpage is for diagnostic purposes only and have not been reviewed for data quality. This automated station is located in a remote Arctic setting. Real-time data allow WERC hydrologists to monitor current weather and stream conditions at the site as well as troubleshoot station problems.
For example, pressure transducer (PT) data plotted on water stage plot are affected by ice for most of the year. PT's are replaced or moved during the period of observation and raw data are not adjusted. Animals can move sensors or chew on the cables. Ice may accumulate on sensors causing inaccurate wind speed and direction. All these issues are accounted for during the QA/QC process.
