Access: Our data management policy is to place all data on line within 1-2 years of collection. Currently all our on-line data sets are available to the scientific community without restriction. However, we recognize that there will occasionally be circumstances where restricted access may be desirable (e.g., locations of endangered species, time-series data to be used in a dissertation). These exceptional cases of restricted access require approval of the BNZ executive committee and in most cases will revert to unrestricted access within 2-3 years after collection.
