Kuparuk

The Kuparuk river is located on the North Slope of Alaska, just north of the Brooks Range foothills and drains into the Arctic Ocean near Prudhoe Bay. The drainage area consists of tussock tundra. Snow depths were taken with a calibrated ski pole, an Adirondack snow sampler, and a Magnaprobe. Flow through the river during melt was measured using a flow meter.
