Development of Biofiltration Technology for the Treatment of Acid Rain Drainage in Red Dog Mines
This project aims in developing psychrophilic and acidophilic sulfate-reducing bacteria immobilized packed bed bioreactor for the successful treatment of sulfate and metal-rich acidic mine water at low temperatures.

Investigating Impact of 2021 Munson Creek Wildfire on the Localized Microbial Communities and Water Quality
This project aims to evaluate the short- and long-term impact of 2021 Munsoon creek Wildfires on the water quality of the middle fork of Chena river and the microbial community structure of associated sediments.
