Arctic journey: Yoshikawa will describe 43-day spring trek by snow machine

Join WERC research faculty Dr. Kenji Yoshikawa for a lecture titled, “Snow Machine Trip from Alaska to the Atlantic: A Slideshow Journey.”

Yoshikawa will visually and orally describe his 43-day trip via snow machine from Deadhorse, Alaska to a town on Baffin Island, Canada called Iqualiut. Along the way, Yoshikawa visited coastal villages and shared his research and outreach program on permafrost.
