Program

Oral Presentations

All oral presentations will be made in the Davis Auditorium on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus. The venue has a computer attached to a powerpoint (ppt) projector and a screen for presentations. A technician will be present in the Davis Auditorium to assist those people making oral presentations. This technician will be available each morning and during break times to receive your Powerpoint (either .ppt or .pptx) files from a USB memory drive or CD and load your presentation onto the auditorium’s computer. Mac and PC computers will be available in case formatting issues arise. Presenters of upcoming sessions should make themselves known to any of the ISOECOL conference staff who will be able to provide directions of where to upload ppt files. Talks are allotted 15 minutes, followed by 5 minutes for questions.

Poster Presentations

Posters will be available for viewing throughout the conference in the Great Hall (where coffee breaks will be held), which adjoins the Davis Auditorium on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus. Poster abstracts will be numbered in the conference abstract booklet, and these numbers will match each poster's assigned poster board number. There will be official poster sessions on Tuesday (10th August) and Thursday (12th August) evenings (from 8p.m. to 9:30 p.m.). Poster boards will be provided along with materials to attach posters to the boards. Each poster will be hung in a 4 feet X 4 feet space (122 cm X 122 cm). Please stay well within these maximum dimensions as you design and print your poster.
