Accommodations

On Campus accommodations

We strongly encourage conference participants to consider staying in on-campus housing. These are economical options conveniently located near the conference. Having participants stay on campus will increase the potential interaction outside of the conference and reduce the amount of driving back and forth to local hotels, none of which are within walking distance.

There are two kinds of on-campus housing:

Cutler Apartment Complex

These are nice two bedroom apartments that sleep up to four people in four twin beds and include a kitchen, living room and full bathroom. Linens are provided and free laundry facilities are available.
Cost is $138 per night.

There are 59 units in Cutler Apartments and we have reserved 30 of them until June 8, 2010. Please book early to ensure that we can get you settled in.
The Cutler apartments also include free wireless internet access (you can register at check-in).

Moore/Bartlett/Skarland Dormitory Complex

Rooms are available as singles or doubles (20 of each are reserved) with common bath facilities. Linens are provided and free laundry facilities are available.
Room rates (per room per night) are $53 for a single and $66 for a double.

These are standard dorm rooms, not fancy, but inexpensive. Only the first floor has free wireless internet, but ethernet access is available on all floors. We recommend you bring your own cable.

Roommates

Roommates will not be assigned for either apartments or double dorm rooms, so you need to arrange who you would like to share with (you can check room/apartment share notices on our conference blog. The cost will be split upon check-in and you can indicate your roommates' name(s) on your reservation.

ADA Compliance

Wheelchair / ADA accessible units are available, please contact the Residence Life office directly (907) 474-6769 to ensure that you are assigned an appropriate room.
