Climate Change and Alaska’s Infrastructure Vulnerabilities

The latest issue of TR News (No. 284) features a full-length story by AUTC Director Billy Connor and Communication Specialist James Harper, describing Alaska’s struggles to manage infrastructure in the face of climate change.

Titled, “How Vulnerable is Alaska’s Transportation to Climate Change?,” the story outlines how permafrost and other ¬†factors impact transportation engineering. It also features photos and mention of many INE researchers and issues at the forefront of America’s arctic engineering expertise.
