Justin’s undergraduate research project involves developing new and innovative cement blends suitable for the use in High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT) wells. His study investigates the replacement of cement with zeolite minerals and tests the properties of different cement blends with varying amounts of mineral content as well as varying mineral particle size. Please view Justin’s award-winning poster, “Well Cement Containing Zeolite Minerals for HPHT Applications”, for a more in depth discussion of his research.
